Santos Dumont, Eiffel Tower （D/E）

The Eiffel Tower, built as the centerpiece of the 1889 Paris World's Fair, was completely different from the stone-built structures that had come before it. Led by Gustave Eiffel, the team successfully constructed a tower 300 meters tall using a combination of iron beams in just two years. Inside the four legs supporting the tower, elevators were installed that ascend diagonally from the ground floor to the first floor. As a result, the space beneath the arches connecting the legs is vast and open, highlighting the beauty of the Eiffel Tower. At Aerobase, after two on-site visits, we created a puzzle-like object made of stainless steel without the use of adhesives.
